UAFS falls to CSU-Pueblo

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith cut a 16-point deficit down to three with less than 10 minutes to go, but fell 90-83 to Colorado State-Pueblo in Wichita Falls, Texas.

The Lions used a 17-4 run to cut the deficit to 67-64 after a jumper by Matiss Sivins with 9:17 left in the game, but that was as close as they would get.

Chris Crawford led UAFS with 26 points. David Ekezie had 18 points and Sivins had 12.

UAFS shot 48 percent (31 of 65) from the field, including 8 of 26 on three-pointers.

UAFS will meet Midwestern State at 8 p.m. today.
