-

MAUMELLE — Kathleen Stafford, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker RPM’s Maumelle office, recently earned her broker’s license. She attended the MidSouth Real Estate Academy in North Little Rock over the past six months to take the required pre-license and post-license courses.

“These broker classes and testing take several months to complete, and Kathleen was diligent in pursuing and completing all of them” said Keith Montgomery, owner of Mid-South Real Estate Academy.

The Arkansas Real Estate Commission’s broker’s-license requirements include documentation of bona fide real estate transactional experience, as well as comprehension of compliance requirements, property-management regulations, real estate regulations, training of Realtors, financial regulations and much more.

“It is one of my top values to continue to learn and grow,” Stafford said.

“I want to know all I can about real estate, and this was my next step,” she said. “Becoming a broker has been a goal of mine so that I can assist my clients better in their pursuit of selling or buying a home.”

Stafford has been in real estate for more than 13 years and holds the GRI (Graduate, Realtor’s Institute) designation. She has a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, as well as a master’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Her specialties include first-time homebuyers, military moves, downsizing, staging, feng shui and luxury homes.
