Rebecca Ryan Aguilera became the bride of Ty-Anthony Scott at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at The Summit Church. The Rev. Bill Elliff officiated.

Parents of the bride are Deborah Ann and Ricardo Aguilera of Maumelle. She is the granddaugh­ter of Sandra Zimmerman of Maumelle and Guadalupe Gomez Albavera of Mexico City.

The groom is the son of Dawn Marie and Vaughn Worth Scott of Allentown, Pa. He is the grandson of Karen Marie and Joseph Paul Miller of Toms River, N.J.

The chancel held a wooden cross draped in white satin and decorated with baby’s breath. Music was by vocalist Brooklyn Myers.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an A-line tulle and organza gown embellishe­d with pearl beaded lace appliques. The fitted bodice had wide lace straps and a V-neckline and the skirt had a wide scalloped hem of lace and and a sweep train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of deep wine roses, white tea roses, freesia, heather and gardenias.

Serving as her sister’s matron of honor was Samantha Davis of Joint Base Lewis, McChord, Wash. Bridesmaid­s were Summer Johnson of Montgomery, Texas; and Autumn Abke of Conroe, Texas, and Abby Zimmerman of The Woodlands, Texas, both cousins of the bride. The attendants wore wine-colored sleeveless gowns and carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Flower girls were Tynlee Davis and Penelope Davis, both of Joint Base Lewis and nieces of the bride, and Keelie Bednar of Conroe, cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Noah Cyr of Conroe, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Dean Scott of Allentown, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Joey Scott of Allentown, brother of the groom; Bryson Boes of Pocono Lake, Pa.; and the father of the bride. Guests were seated by Staff Sgt. Travis L. Davis of Joint Base Lewis.

A reception at the church was held after the ceremony. Tables were decorated with arrangemen­ts of white- and wine-colored roses, hydrangeas and freesia.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in marketing communicat­ions from Berkeley College, New York, and is employed in the marketing department of a financial firm in New York.

The groom attended the Travel Academy, Eagan, Minn., and is employed in hotel management in New York.

After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple will live in Woodbridge, N.J.
