KEY LARGO, Fla. — It is with great sad­ness that the fam­ily of Max­ine M. Kier­nan Bagg an­nounces her pass­ing at home (Ocean

Reef, Fla.) on

Fri­day, Fe­bru­ary 1, 2019 at the age of 99 years. She was born April 22,

1919 in Arkadel­phia, Arkansas to Dave and Nel­lie Mont­gomery.

Max­ine is pre­ceded in death by her par­ents and her sib­lings. Max­ine was a po­tent com­peti­tor on the golf course, skeet range and in life. Max­ine, for­mer “Miss At­lanta” of 1940, will be for­ever re­mem­bered by her chil­dren, Kathryn Kier­nan (Ju­dith) and Monty Kier­nan (Rain), as a lov­ing, car­ing mother. Max­ine will also be al­ways trea­sured by her grand­daugh­ter, Erin Frige­rio (Ja­son), and great grand­son, Leonidas.

A grave­side ser­vice will be held 2 p.m. on Satur­day, Fe­bru­ary 16, 2019 at the fam­ily plot, DeRoche Ceme­tery, in Bis­marck, Ark.
