9, 2019 in Little

Rock. He retired from the

Air Force after proudly serving

20 years.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 57 years, Oleta Hammock; his three children, Charles Hammock and his wife Laura of La Vernia, Texas, David Hammock of Rogers, Thomas

27, 1938 to Johnny and Cordia (Harville) Warford who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nina Mae (Elliott) Warford and sons Nick (Rhonda) Warford, Mickey Dean Warford, and Charles Allen Warford, grandchild­ren, Jessica (RJ) Warford, Jared (Lauren) Warford, and great-grandchild­ren, Lynley Phifer, Stella Hobbs, and Willow Warford. Also survived by his sister, Janet (Will) Bearden, nieces and nephew, as well as many friends and relatives who will mourn his loss.

Mr. Warford retired from Reynolds Metals with 30 years of service. After retirement he also owned and operated Bill Warford and Sons Saline Crushing and Excavation, J&J &Abraham Sand and Gravel, as well as the Razorback Carwash and Quick Lube. Mr. Warford was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching a good birddog work. He was a fan of the sport of Rodeo, which he passed on to his sons and grandson. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, as well as his grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. He was an active member of the community, serving as a Saline County Justice of the Peace and a member of the Saline Memorial Hospital Board of Directors. Mr. Warford was a member of Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church.

His is survived by his son, Kevin Carmical of Conway; daughter, Becky Bridges and her husband Rick of Jacksonvil­le; grandsons, Brandon Bridges of Jacksonvil­le, Tyler Bridges and his wife Katelyn of Jacksonvil­le and Chad and wife Jenny Bridges of Cabot and their children, Christophe­r and Juliana. He is also survived by his loving companion of more than eight years, Zelma Dicus Hicks of Cabot and Lubbock, Texas; great-aunt, Geneva Loux Hall; sister, Deborah Mahurin-Rettstatt of Cabot; brother-in-law, Bobby Taylor and sister-in-law and brotherin-law, Freva and Buck Johnson of Cabot.

Lynn was raised in the Bayou Meto area of North Pulaski County, graduating from Sylvan Hills High School in 1960. After graduation, Lynn began his career and became both an Electricia­n and an Electrical Lineman, obtaining Journeyman licenses in both areas. He was a lifetime member of IBEW Local 295. After working as an electricia­n through IBEW, he began his career as a lineman for First Electric Cooperativ­e in Jacksonvil­le in May 1971 until his retirement February 2004. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cabot where he had served as a Deacon. He and Judy enjoyed camping with friends and family, listening to bluegrass music, and watching whatever events their children and grandsons were involved in.

Baptist Church, and was a profession­al seamstress for many years. From cooking, to traveling, to singing, or fishing, she enjoyed staying active, and making memories with her family. Her greatest joy was being a loving wife for 60 years, a mom who was incredibly proud of her children, and being “Nana” to her grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren, who in her unbiased opinion, were the best in the world. Mrs. Stacks died Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her home in East End, at the age of 80.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, and another brother, Raymond Carroll Sims. 50 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmothe­r who was very devoted to God and her family. Lorene and Erwin opened their home for many preachers and others for whom she cooked many meals. She enjoyed preparing meals and spending time with her family and friends.

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Captain Earl Ballard slipped the surly bounds of earth on February 10, 2019. He passed away at the age of 81 at Good

Sam’s after a brief and courageous battle with brain cancer. His life began on 9-1937 in Kerrville,

Texas, but included many stops along the way because his step-dad was a military man. His education includes Frankfurt High School in Germany, graduation at Austin High School in El Paso, Stephenvil­le Junior College, and finally Texas A&M. Earl’s flying career started with the United States Air Force learning to fly in the Air Force Cadet class of G61, then flying missions to Turkey, France, and Bangkok. His career ended after 32 years of flying and line check training with Delta Air Lines where he retired as an “Internatio­nal Pilot”. Earl always said he wanted to fly the biggest planes made!! Even after moving to Hot Springs Village in 2000, he continued to meet monthly with his Delta flying buddies for lunch.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Barnhart and Martha Ann Hamilton Ballard and his stepfather E.H. Ballard, his sister, Dixie Marie McClellan. He is survived by the “love of his life”, Jeanne, with whom he just celebrated their 40th anniversar­y, a sister, Linda O’Connell, three children, Timothy, Matthew, and Mitchell, four grandchild­ren, one great grandchild, many nieces and nephews.

Captain Earl loved to reminisce about all his days of flying and had a lot of stories about all the famous people that had been on his flights. He loved playing golf with his friends and his wife and they made many golfing trips. Earl spent a lot of his free time playing “freecell” on his computer, playing euchre with friends, and snuggling up in the recliner with his dog, Dexter. Earl also had a passion for the piano and he spent hours playing the oldies. Earl was a kind and gentle soul who will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 15 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village followed by The Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Arkansas State Veterans cemetery in North Little Rock at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19.
