The new episode “Sammy Davis, Jr.: I’ve Gotta Be Me” profiles a true American superstar who broke new ground in entertainment as the Civil Rights movement gathered momentum across the United States. At Home With Amy Sedaris
Amy Sedaris returns with more delightfully surreal twists on decorating, cooking, crafting and entertaining as this Emmy-nominated series returns for Season 2. As in last last season, Sedaris appears in multiple guises, while recurring co-star Cole Escola (Difficult People) plays Chassie Tucker, a former pastry chef turned TV contributor. This season’s guest lineup includes Rose Byrne, Matthew Broderick, Susan Sarandon, Ellie Kemper and Fred Armisen, among others.
9:01 p.m. on A&E Many Sides of Jane
This absorbing docu-series calls it a wrap, at least for now, with two new back-to-back episodes, starting with “Ashley,” which introduces a new and self-destructive part of Jane’s splintered psyche. Dr. Waters immediately begins trying to crack Ashley’s tough exterior to get to the underlying pain. Then, in the season finale “Jane’s Beautiful Brain,” Beth — a 10-year-old part of Jane — lends her assistance when Jane journeys to Boston to participate in an experiment. 9:03 p.m. on History Channel
Project Blue Book
A scoutmaster goes missing while he and his troop are witnessing a strange craft hovering over a wooded area where they are camping, so Hynek (Aiden Gillen) is dispatched to investigate the incident for Project Blue Book in the new episode “The Scoutmaster.” Meanwhile, Quinn (Michael Malarkey) finds himself drawn into a rogue mission for Gen. Harding (Neal McDonough).
