The university has invested more than $500 million into campus facilities during the past several years, transforming the campus with new residence halls, academic buildings, arts facilities and other amenities.

The university offers a number of resources and programs for underrepresented students, including the Razorback Bridge Scholarship Program, Silas Hunt Scholarships and the Engineering Career Awareness Program. In addition, a new scholarship initiative, Advance Arkansas, provides support to new, returning and transfer students from Arkansas who exhibit some financial need, a record of academic success and a strong desire to complete their degree at the University of Arkansas.
