Arkansas for Nursing
Network provides statewide resources for nursing
WHAT IS ARKANSAS FOR NURSING?
Arkansas for Nursing is an organization comprising representatives from Arkansas hospitals and nursing-education programs. Member organizations are diverse and offer career and educational opportunities for nurses.
The organization is committed to representing a positive image of nursing, educating those who want to pursue a career in nursing and offering job opportunities to nurses within the state. Arkansas for Nursing serves as a resource for those who are interested in a nursing career.
The Arkansas for Nursing website is a central location where nursing information on education and job opportunities can be found. The website also offers resources for advanced nursing-education programs, as well as continuing-education links for nurses to maintain or learn new skills.
Arkansas for Nursing is everywhere — hospitals, clinics, research centers, schools, homes and other places.
Arkansas has 63 nursing programs for licensed-practical-nurse to registered-nurse training, and more than 100 hospitals that hire nurses after graduation and successful completion of their licensure examinations.
