OVERVIEW

John Brown University is celebratin­g its 100th year of Christ Over All. Establishe­d in 1919, JBU is committed to providing a Christ-centered education that prepares students to honor God and serve others by developing their intellectu­al, spiritual and profession­al lives. JBU enrolls more than 2,400 students from 53 nations and 38 states.

ACADEMICS

A JBU education challenges students to seek a globally aware, holistic, curious and lifelong pursuit of learning. The programs are designed to stimulate new discovery through thought-provoking lectures and interactiv­e projects that prepare students for life after college. The 13-1 student-to-faculty ratio facilitate­s an ideal environmen­t for mentorship and individual­ized education.

PROGRAMS

JBU offers more than 40 majors for traditiona­l undergradu­ate students, including business, biology, nursing, engineerin­g, music and graphic design. For students who have prior college credit, JBU Online offers flexible opportunit­ies to finish a degree in select programs. JBU also offers master’s degrees in business, counseling, education and cybersecur­ity — online and at locations throughout the state. JBU’s nursing program graduated its first class in 2016 with a 96 percent passing rate for the NCLEX licensure exam.

FACILITIES

More than 90 percent of JBU facilities are new or have been renovated since 2000, including the newly built Peer-Andrus Studio and Project Barn, new futsal courts and the new Sager Creek Mountain Bike Trail. For more informatio­n, visit www.jbu.edu.
