MILDRED MARIE CARLTON, 89, of Jacksonvil­le went home to be with Jesus and family members there waiting for her Wednesday, April 17, 2019. She was born December 25, 1929 in West Monroe, La., to the late Walter and Myrtle Tucker Oliver. Mrs. Carlton loved the Lord and was a member of Marshall Road Baptist Church. Her children and her family were the joy of her life.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carlton was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Johnny Carlton; a son, Richard (Ricky) Carlton; grandson, David Brown; great-grandsons, Ethan and Baby Boy Collins; sisters, Mary Narwick, Jean Van Houten and Evelyn Duchin; brother, Carlton Oliver and son-in-law, Rafael Jimenez. Mrs. Carlton is survived by sons, John Carlton of Cabot and Kenny Carlton of Jacksonvil­le; daughters, Ilene Collins and Loretta Gail Jimenez, both of Jacksonvil­le and Katherine Baker of North Little Rock; grandchild­ren, Johnny Collins of Jacksonvil­le, Michael Collins of Bryant, Shane Jimenez of Fort Worth, Texas, Dewey Carlton II of Magnolia, Del., and Brad Carlton of Cabot; great-grandchild­ren, Jessica Furrow, Katelyn, Kinzley and Kadence Collins, Skylar Brown, Kierstyn Carlton and Isabella Carlton, Carlos Hernandez, Miguel Jimenez, John Carlton III, Kyler Stevens and Jardon Woodworth and great-great-granddaugh­ter, Wylie.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. KENNETH W. DOWNES “KenDawg),” 42, of Jacksonvil­le, Ark., passed away in his home on April 16, 2019. He was a structural

steel detailer for over 20 years with the same company. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, best friend, and die hard Razorback fan.

He was preceded in death by his grandparen­ts and his uncle. Kenneth leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Kim; his son, Wes; mother, Patty; sister, Vickie, as well as many other family members and friends.
