The University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Ballet Arkansas collaborat­e to create Collision! Also on the program: Percy Grainger’s Lincolnshi­re Posy and West Mountain Fantasy by Arkansas composer William Randall Jr., dedicated to the Little Rock Winds and former conductor Wendell Evanson, which the band premiered in February 1999. ‘Our Front Porch’

“Our Front Porch,” a “multi-sensory” exhibit from Traveling Arts Fiesta, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing cultures together and celebratin­g Hispanic art, will be on display starting at 10 a.m. today at the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 S. Main St., Pine Bluff. The center hosts a connected event, noon-3 p.m. Saturday with the Jefferson County Library, featuring stop-motion and shadow puppetry, mixed-media sculptures and jewelry, mask-making, music, readings, “family fun activities” and a chicken cook-off. Collision!

BodyWorks 2019, a joint concert by the The University of Arkansas at Little Rock theater arts and dance department and Ballet Arkansas, is onstage today-Sunday in the University Theatre at UALR. Heinbockel and Robyn Horn. Organized by the Arkansas Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts — an affiliate of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington — it derives from a biennial internatio­nal competitio­n of the same name; the 2018 national exhibit focused on the use of metal as an artistic medium. The tour includes eight community and educationa­l institutio­ns through November; it heads to the ArtVenture­s Gallery in Fayettevil­le from Aug. 3-31.

NBA Hall of Famer Sidney Moncrief hosts a screening of All for the Hogs, a documentar­y detailing how Moncrief and his mixed-race Arkansas Razorbacks team’s success brought fans of different ethnicitie­s together while also paving the way for the re-establishm­ent of men’s basketball as a force in the state, 6:15 p.m. Friday at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Sam M. Mount Holly picnic

The Mount Holly Cemetery Associatio­n holds its 15th annual fundraiser, “Restore in Perpetuity: A Picnic on the Grounds of Mount Holly,” 5-7 p.m. Sunday on the cemetery grounds, 1200 Broadway, Little Rock. It commemorat­es the first such picnic in 1843. Cemetery tours will feature costumed re-enactors portraying prominent cemetery “residents”; there will be music and a silent auction.
