■ Sis­ter Mary Ber­ch­mans, pres­i­dent emerita of Ge­orge­town Visi­ta­tion Prepara­tory School, a 220-year-old Catholic girls school in Wash­ing­ton, D.C., an­nounced that it is now al­low­ing news about same-sex unions in its alum­nae mag­a­zine, say­ing the change fol­lows “the Gospel com­mand­ment of love.”

■ Jes­sica Sar­dina, 25, of Ban­gor, Maine, asked the state’s high­est court to grant her mo­tion seek­ing visi­ta­tion rights with a boxer-Labrador mix named Honey af­ter a lower court judge gave her for­mer boyfriend full cus­tody un­der prop­erty laws be­cause his sig­na­ture ap­peared on adop­tion pa­pers.

■ Caro­line Faith posted a photo of a stolen brew­ery de­liv­ery van on In­sta­gram 42 min­utes af­ter The Un­known Brew­ing Co., in Char­lotte, N.C., went on so­cial me­dia of­fer­ing a keg party to the per­son who helped the brew­ery lo­cate and re­cover the van.

■ Hester Burkhal­ter, 69, ar­rested at a Walt Dis­ney World se­cu­rity check­point in Or­lando, Fla., af­ter a guard found CBD oil in her purse, is de­mand­ing an apol­ogy af­ter prose­cu­tors dropped a drug charge against the North Carolina woman.

■ Miche­lene Kin­ning, 54, a book­keeper, faces four theft counts af­ter be­ing ac­cused of steal­ing more than $200,000 from at least three Open Bi­ble Churches in the Des Moines, Iowa, area by re­peat­edly writ­ing checks to her­self, po­lice said.

■ Christo­pher Ewing, 40, of Up­lands Park, Mo., ac­cused of top­pling a portable toi­let with a woman trapped in­side at a sub­ur­ban St. Louis light rail sta­tion, was charged with felony counts of kid­nap­ping, at­tempted kid­nap­ping and as­sault, au­thor­i­ties said.

■ Rodney Puck­ett, 70, of Sand Springs, Okla., charged with con­ceal­ing his 74-yearold wife’s body af­ter it was spot­ted sit­ting in the pas­sen­ger seat dur­ing a traf­fic stop in Eloy, Ariz., told po­lice that his wife died at a ho­tel in Texas and that he put her in their ve­hi­cle and con­tin­ued their trip.
