Symphony to perform score as Star Wars is screened

A symphony orchestra featuring members of the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas will play John Williams’ score, live, as Star Wars: Episode IV

— A New Hope screens, 8 p.m. Saturday at the Walmart AMP, 5079 W. Northgate Road, Rogers. Doors open at 6:30.

Bluegrass Monday

Bluegrass band Remington Ryde — guitarist, vocalist and founder Ryan Frankhouse­r; Billy Lee Cox, banjo; Ron Truman, bass; and Stanley Efaw, mandolin — performs at 7 p.m. Monday at the Collins Theatre, 120 W. Emerson St., Paragould, part of Jonesboro public radio station KASU-FM, 91.9’s Bluegrass Monday concert series. Cry 4 Help

Hip-hop performer and Arkansas native Kari Faux, on her “Help Wanted” tour in support of her new EP Cry 4 Help, returns to her hometown for a special performanc­e, 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ron Robinson Theater, 100 River Market Ave., Little Rock. Aida, joins the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra for a special concert, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at Robinson Center Performanc­e Hall, 426 W. Markham St. at Broadway, Little Rock. “An Evening with Heather Headley” will feature selections from those shows and other Broadway tunes. Ron Colvard will conduct.
