Blind school grad group turns 100

The Arkansas School for the Blind will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its alumni association Friday through Sunday.

Dick Seifert, a member of the association, said the event will begin at 3 p.m. Friday.

Rod Clemmons, a graduate of the school and an R&B musician, will perform on Saturday.

Doug Armstrong, also a graduate of the school and an attorney, will speak Saturday, as well.

The celebration will also include an auction, bake sale and banquet, Seifert said.
