Tsai leads NCAA D-II Tournament

Arkansas Tech University’s Shawn Tsai shot a 67 and leads by two strokes after the first round at the NCAA Division II national championship at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W.Va. Tsai’s 67 is a personal best and included six birdies.

As a team, the Wonder Boys turned in a 288, good for a tie for second place with Lincoln Memorial. Cal State Monterey Bay leads by one stroke. The top eight teams after three rounds will advance to match play.

Also for the Wonder Boys, Austin Green shot a 72 and is tied for 13th place. Andre Jacobs shot a 73 and is tied for 25th.
