RONALD J. DUMAS, 68, of Sherwood, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019. He was born December 29, 1950 in Fort Hood, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Dumas; daughter Jennifer (Mitchell) Bobo; son Michael (Jacquelyn) Dumas; brother Willard (Susie) Dumas; sister Terry (Wayne) Steelman, grandchild­ren: Mitch, Audrey, Leah, Hunter, Kinsley, and Blake, and great-grandchild­ren: Brianna, Hannah, and Blair. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. “Pete” and Mary Virginia Dumas.

A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 12 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery. Online guest register at www.SmithFamil­yCares.com.

–––––❖––––– AARON JEFF HALL, 30, of Little Rock, departed this mortal life, June 1, 2019. He was born to Peter and Jennifer Hall.

He was the percussion section leader for the Bowie State University Band, where he received a scholarshi­p to attend.

Also while at Bowie State, Aaron pledged Kappa Kappa Psi. Aaron graduated from Bowie State, and a few years later, he proudly followed the foot-steps of his dad and enlisted in the United States Air Force as an Electronic Warfare Systems technical maintainer at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. He was assigned to the 31st Maintenanc­e Squadron, Aviano Air Base; Italy. But most of all, he enjoyed being a good godly friend to everyone around him.

After his two year tour of Italy, Aaron was assigned to the 20th Component Maintenanc­e Squadron at Shaw Air Force Base; South Carolina. Aaron Jeff Hall accepted Jesus Christ as his personal SAVIOR at an early age. He played at local churches in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC areas. Lastly, he was the drum player for the Chapel Services at Shaw AFB Chapel; Chaplain Markette served as his Pastor until GOD called him home. Aaron faithfully served his nation by providing godly guidance and mentorship to both peers and his subordinat­es. His selfless and positive attitude was felt wherever he went and he was consistent­ly supportive to friends and co-workers at any time of need. He was a mentor, leader and Wingman, but more than all of this, Aaron really loved the LORD and his family.

Left to cherish his precious memories are: Peter Hall Sr. (Dad), Jennifer Hall (mother), both of Little Rock, Ark., Peter Jr. (brother) of Morrisvill­e, N.C., and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Arkansas

BENTON — Lynda Anne Brooks Bennett, 78, of Benton, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 7, 2019. She was born January 7, 1941, in Fort Smith, Ark.

Lynda graduated from Fort Smith High School (now Northside). She then attended college at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, John Arthur Bennett; 2 daughters: Terri Bennett Wallace (Duff) of Madison, Miss., and Kristi Bennett of Little Rock, Ark.; one grandson: Spencer Wallace. She is preceded in death by her parents John Arthur and Reola Crutchfiel­d Brooks of Panama, Okla.

Lynda was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, an avid supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks, and an active member of the Arkansas Razorback Roadhogs. She and John enjoyed touring in their antique cars and was a member of the Arkansas Travelers Antique Car Club in Little Rock and the Dixie Car Club in Benton. Lynda was very proud of her Indian heritage and was a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She enjoyed gardening, traveling in their RV, was an excellent seamstress and expressed her love for everyone through her cooking.

She left us a legacy of being a close knit, caring family. She lived and breathed, in every facet, her role as mother, wife, and profession­al homemaker. Family was her utmost priority, and everything was always done with her children and grandchild in mind. She was the epitome of a role model with the very highest ethics and morals.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 11, 2019, from 1 p.m. until the service time, celebratin­g Lynda’s life beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Geyer Springs FirstBapti­st Church in Little Rock, with Lead Pastor Dave Hughey and Pastor Max Pyron officiatin­g. Burial will be at Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe, Okla., on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 11 a.m.

We lay her body to rest, knowing she is already with her Savior. She was adored by all and will be greatly missed.

CONWAY — Jasmine Denise Worley, 20, of Conway, Ark., went to be with the Lord Friday, June 7, 2019. She was born February 12, 1999, in Pine Bluff, Ark.

HATTIEVILL­E — Jerry Rocker, age 50, of Hattievill­e, passed surrounded by his family on June 8, 2019. He was born November 25, 1968, in Jacksonvil­le, Ark. An electricia­n by training, Jerry enjoyed rebuilding antique vehicles, camping, fishing, anything outdoors and hands-on. He was of the Lutheran faith. With his legendary sense of humor and playful spirit, Jerry enjoyed every moment with his friends and family. He was a devoted son, husband, and father. Always taking care of others, he will be missed by countless friends.

He is survived by his parents, Burt and Barbara Huffman Rocker of Jacksonvil­le; wife Trisha Reynolds

Rocker of Hattievill­e; daughters Carly (Jason) Overfelt and Kelly (Chris) Jones; grandchild­ren Tyler, Austin, Houston, and Ashlynn Wright; brothers Jeff (Alex) Rocker and Jon (Tammy) Rocker; three nephews, and one niece.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Ashley Wright.

A memorial service will be held at Harris Chapel in Morrilton on Friday, June 14 at 3 p.m. with Matthew Martin officiatin­g. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.

HUMNOKE — Saturday, June 8, Roger Oliver, 88, of Humnoke, entered his heavenly home.

He was proceeded in death by his wife Margie Oliver and their infant daughter, along with his parents, three brothers, and four sisters. He is survived by a son, Richard “Pip” Terry (Barbara) of Humnoke; daughter, Rhonda McCarty (Tracy) of Humphrey; brother, Dennis Oliver (Margaret) of Stuttgart; five grandchild­ren, and 10 great-grandchild­ren.

NASHVILLE — LaDonna Jean Lowery Reeves of Nashville, Ark., passed away unexpected­ly on June 7, 2019 in Little Rock, Ark., at the age of 64. Donna was born in the backseat of a car on the Strawberry Road in Delight, Ark., on February 14, 1955. She enjoyed spending time with her great-grandson, socializin­g with other family and friends, supporting loved ones in all their endeavors, and working outside with her plants and flowers. Donna was a survivor, a beacon of light and hope, a pillar of her community, and the heartbeat of her family. Her gift was always making you feel like you were her favorite, no matter if you were her child, grandchild, niece, nephew, brother, sister, in-law, out-law, cousin, friend, or a stranger.

Donna is preceded in death by her loving parents, Charles and Norma Jean Lowery, and one brother, Jerry Lynn Lowery. Her survivors include her husband Scooter Reeves of Nashville, her son Timmy Woodruff and his wife Jerri of Dierks; her two stepdaught­ers: Kayla McCarley and husband Mark of Texarkana, and Samantha McCrary and husband James Paul of Rockport, Texas; her ten grandchild­ren; Mason, Lillie and fiance Tyler Mounts, and Lane Woodruff, all of Dierks, Rylan and Nora McCarley, both of Texarkana, Mitchell, Payton, Maddy, Kayden, and Tyler McCrary and wife Kendra, all of Rockport, Texas; her four great-grandchild­ren: Keatyn Mounts of Dierks, Jaxon, Layla, and Zander McCrary, all of Rockport, Texas; her three brothers: Stevie Lowery and wife Susan, Chuck Lowery and wife Debbie, and Ricky Don Lowery and wife Paula, all of Murfreesbo­ro; her five nephews: Bryan Lowery and wife Marci of Hot Springs, Jarrod Lowery and wife Jamie of Texarkana, Darrick Lowery and wife Carrie of Lonoke, Jake Lowery and wife Mitzi of Murfreesbo­ro, and Ben Lowery and wife April of Murfreesbo­ro; her two nieces: Chelcey Lowery Best and husband Jon of Seattle, Wash., and Elleigh Lowery of Hot Springs; her ten great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. She is missed as much as she is loved.

SHERIDAN — Donald Cooper, 84, of Sheridan, Ark., died Saturday.

Survivors: wife Audrey; son Rickey (Linda); daughters Clara, Vickie Jo (James), Sharon (Tim); brother Paul; sisters Dianne, Earline; eight grandchild­ren, ten great-grandchild­ren, two great-great-grandchild­ren and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
