■ Matthew Sloan, 33, ac­cused of run­ning naked in front of on­look­ers at an out­door con­cert venue in Nashville, Tenn., faces charges that in­clude as­sault­ing an of­fi­cer and pub­lic in­de­cency after he punched one of­fi­cer and spit at another while be­ing ar­rested, po­lice said.

■ An­thony Gibbs, a po­lice sergeant in Guthrie, Okla., said an of­fi­cer found a rat­tlesnake, a can­is­ter of ra­dioac­tive pow­dered ura­nium and an open bot­tle of whiskey dur­ing a traf­fic stop that re­sulted in the driver be­ing ar­rested on a charge of driv­ing a stolen ve­hi­cle and other counts.

■ Deanna Cantrell, the po­lice chief of San Luis Obispo, Calif., re­vealed in a so­cial me­dia video that she left her hand­gun in a restau­rant re­stroom where it was stolen, say­ing her ac­tions were ir­re­spon­si­ble and dan­ger­ous and she ex­pects to be held ac­count­able.

■ Mark St­inziano of West Mil­ford, N.J., is promis­ing his neigh­bor’s dog, Ri­ley, a steak after his home se­cu­rity cam­era recorded the dog rac­ing into his back­yard and ram­ming into a star­tled black bear as it snacked from a bird feeder and then chas­ing the bruin away.

■ Eric Vail, 28, mis­tak­enly re­leased six weeks ago from a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., jail where he was be­ing held on mur­der charges, was re­cap­tured after in­ves­ti­ga­tors tracked him to a mo­bile home in Jes­sup, Ga., author­i­ties said.

■ Delores Amorino of Young­wood, Pa., ac­cused of beat­ing her 78-year-old mother and shav­ing her head be­cause the older woman was lis­ten­ing to a Pitts­burgh Steel­ers’ game too loudly on the ra­dio, wants a judge to dis­miss the case, claim­ing that Amorino’s 19-year-old daugh­ter did it.

■ Melinda Thomas, 39, said she and her hus­band saw a 3-foot-long al­li­ga­tor in their front yard, a rar­ity for south St. Louis, and after he poked it with a broom­stick to make sure it was real, they called an­i­mal con­trol, which cap­tured it.

■ Jen­nifer Yea­ger, 49, of Dixon, Ill., ac­cused of let­ting her two young daugh­ters ride in­side an in­flated pool atop her SUV when she moved it from a friend’s house to her own, has been charged with child en­dan­ger­ment, po­lice said.

■ Ken­d­er­ick Hill, 30, of Opelika, Ala., faces first-de­gree kid­nap­ping and other charges after po­lice said he posted a video viewed widely on so­cial me­dia of him ab­duct­ing a 31-year-old man, ty­ing him to a chair and then set­ting the ground un­der the chair on fire.
