ST. SIMMONS ISLAND, Ga. — India Roberta Jones Huddleston, 76, of St. Simmons Island, Ga., entered her heavenly home while sleeping on Saturday morning July 13, 2019. Formerly of Memphis, Tenn., India is preceded by her parents, Oscar and Eunice Jones.

She is survived by her husband Clay, of St. Simmons Island; a son, Thomas Van Duyn of Colliervil­le, Tenn.; grandchild­ren Ayden and Miranda; a brother, Oscar H. Jones III of Searcy and sisters Sandra Jean Ballard (Dwight) of Gulfport, Miss., Donna Rains (David) of Montgomery, TX, Alice Belle Laurendine (Ed) of Daphne, La. and Karen Loden (Mark) of Germantown, Tenn.

India was known by those who knew and loved her as a woman who had walked with the Lord from a very early age. She was known for her fervency in prayer and was a disciple of women, in whose lives she invested. She genuinely loved people and was an encourager to all who knew her. She was gifted musically in performanc­e, compositio­n and teaching of voice and piano. India had a love for missions and there are many missionari­es with whom she kept in touch, several who had stayed in her home.

There will be a visitation on Monday, July 22 from 1 until 2 p.m. at the Gregg-Langford-Bookout Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

MANDEVILLE, La. — Darryl Edward Paulette of Mandeville, La., formerly of North Little Rock, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. He was born on August 30, 1956 in Little Rock, Ark. to Victor E. and Virginia Claire (Vail) Paulette.

Darryl is survived by his beloved wife Jenniffer Paulette; his children Jeni Penny (Eddie), Elizabeth Hart (Chris), Bubba Paulette (Jenny), Abel Ruiz, and Branson Paulette; and six grandchild­ren, Grace, Christophe­r, Parker, Bella, Paisley, and Presley. He is also survived by his sister Carol Blythe and his brother Victor Paulette Jr. Darryl is preceded in death by his granddaugh­ter Megan Penny and his parents.

Darryl was a baseball enthusiast specifical­ly when it came to the Arkansas Razorbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was also a fixture at the local ballparks, and coached his children and grandchild­ren. Darryl also loved the beach and spending time with his family. When he was not spending time with his family, he was with his work family. Darryl enjoyed working with the St. Tammany Parish Government for nearly twenty years. He was highly respected and loved by everyone who knew him.

OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. — MaryAnn Helen (Ruelle) Hooker St. Amant, 90, of Olive Branch, Miss. passed from this life on Sunday, July 14, 2019.
