North Pulaski board names Dietz Realtor of the Year
SHERWOOD — The North Pulaski Board of Realtors has named Michael Dietz, principal broker for Doug Wilkinson Realty in Jacksonville, as Realtor of the Year for 2019.
Dietz, who has more than 30 years of experience in real estate, was selected for the award based on his service to the real estate profession and to the community this year. According to a prepared statement from the North Pulaski Board of Realtors, Dietz “has rightfully gained the trust and respect of brokers ad agents alike. His knowledge, leadership, energy and caring heart for people make up the kind of person our industry counts on today.”
In addition to serving as president of the North Pulaski Board of Realtors, Dietz serves as a board representative to CARMLS (Cooperative Arkansas Realtors Multiple Listing Services). As a member of the Arkansas Realtors Association’s Professional Development Committee, he works to establish policy, procedures and operations of educational offerings to the association’s members. Dietz was instrumental in obtaining additional financial support from CARMLS, advancing the organization to premier sponsor level for the Arkansas Realtors Association’s annual convention and trade show, which will take place in September.
Dietz is a member of the Jacksonville Lions Club, the Jacksonville Partnership for Housing L.P., the Jacksonville Housing Authority Board, the Jacksonville Public Facilities Board, the chambers of commerce for both Jacksonville and Cabot, and the Jacksonville/Cabot Real Estate Council.
He also works with numerous volunteer efforts, helping to provide shelter and clothing for the homeless, and is a member and chairman of deacons for Jacksonville’s Second Baptist Church.
Each year, Dietz and Doug Wilkinson Realty work with the North Pulaski Board of Realtors to present the Doug Wilkinson Memorial Golf Tournament to raise funds for Special Olympics Arkansas.
Dietz holds the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation and was a recipient of the Diamond Level Award for Excellence last year.
Each local Realtor board’s Realtor of the Year will be recognized at the Arkansas Realtors Association’s state convention and, if named statewide Realtor of the Year, will be recognized at the National Association of Realtors’ annual convention in November.
