BANKING
Brock Fletcher and Bryan Wagner were hired by Armor Bank at their Jonesboro location. Fletcher was brought in as market president and Wagner as senior vice president of Commercial Lending and Business Development.
EDUCATION
Donald Kennedy a veteran of the College of Agriculture administration has been appointed the interim dean of the college by Arkansas State University.
Justin Castro will serve as the chair for the Department of History at Arkansas State University this fall, Carl Cates, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Communication announced this week.
Cindy Stowe has been named dean of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy.
Harding University has recently made several leadership changes across multiple colleges and departments. Brittany Blake was named chair of the department of family and consumer sciences; Darren Mathews became director of the Master of Arts in Teaching; Jon Wood has been appointed director of the Waldron Center for Entrepreneurship and Family Business; David
Johnson was named chair of finance; Audra Pleasant has been promoted to executive director of international programs.
MEDICAL SCIENCES
Marcus James has been named senior vice president of Claims and Membership for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. He also serves as president and chief executive officer of USAble Partners, LLC, the captive insurance company owned by Arkansas Blue Cross.
Dr. Caleb Pingel has been welcomed by the Baxter its medical staff. Pingel has joined the group of physicians practicing at Cline Emergency Center.
RETAIL
Ben Trevino has been named store manager at the Sissy’s Log Cabin in Pine Bluff.
