ARUN HARIBHAI AGRAWAL, 75, of Maumelle passed away on September 11, 2019.

He was born to Haribhai and Sulochna Agrawal in Ahmedabad, India on May 11, 1944.

He was an honest and virtuous man who valued time with family and friends. He touched the lives of all those who knew him and will be fondly remembered. Arun is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Shreelekha Agrawal; three children, Sneha Odom (Eric), Anand Agrawal (Monika), and Arpan Agrawal (Alicia); two granddaugh­ters, Sophia and Madelyn; five siblings, Piyush Shah (Priti), Usha Agrawal (Jayendra), Pankaj Agrawal (Jayashree), Smita Parikh, and Shashank Agrawal (Beena); and “fur grandkids”, Hannah, Oscar, Bruno, Lyla, and Zoey. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.

PATSY RUTH COOKSEY, 74, entered into Heavenly rest on Sunday, September 8, 2019. She was predecease­d by her father and mother, Acie and Elorna Cooksey; six siblings, Acie Cooksey, Jr., Dorothy Falls, Dorothy Cooksey Brown, Pearlie Lucille Cooksey, Phillip Cooksey, Sr., and Wendi Cooksey.

She leaves her legacy behind to be cherished by her three children, Schree Cooksey, Tony Cooksey and Alicia Smith; six grandchild­ren; and five great-grandchild­ren; six sisters; three brothers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

There will be a viewing on Monday, September 16, 2019, at the church 10-11 a.m., New Hope Baptist Church, and the funeral service will start at 11 a.m. at the church. ALBERT L. DODSON, 88, of Jacksonvil­le passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019. He was born February 2, 1931 in Jacksonvil­le, Arkansas to Bert and Rosena Ison Dodson. He was a graduate of North Little Rock High school, a deacon and member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, a Razorback fan and retired from the Rock Island Railroad in 1980. During his retirement years he drove a bus for Pulaski County Special School District. Albert was saved when he was 16 years old. He spent every minute of his life, and even in death, glorifying the name of Jesus. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Albert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon “Susie” Dodson; daughter, Christina (Mike) Null; sons, Jon (Robyn) Dodson and David (Gwen) Dodson; eleven grandchild­ren, April, Josh, Rebekah, Elizabeth, Jeremiah, Nathan, Anna Kate, Suzy, Hannah, Joylynn and Zeb; six great-grandchild­ren, William, Alice, Ella, Thomas, Levi and Clara; and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Waymon John Dodson, Francis Smithson, Amy Thomas and Bert Dodson.

DAVID JOSEPH OCHOA, of North Little Rock, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019.

He was born February 3, 1971, in Dallas, Texas to the late Daniel Cabrera and Elisa Ochoa. David was of the Apostolic faith, which was of great importance to him. His family was everything and David loved spending time with them.

David is survived by his loving fiance of 7 years, Brittany Vance; son, David Joseph Ochoa Jr.; daughter, Cierra Rosa Ochoa Tran (Leon) of California; sisters, Ebony Smith (Jed) and Laura Ochoa; grandchild­ren, Alex Tran, Cheyenne Tran and Theo Tran; a very special aunt, Elsa Cortez; and a slew of loving cousins who were more like brothers and sisters. David never met a stranger, causing him to leave behind many friends.

KATIE SIMPSON THOMPSON, 89, died in Little Rock on September 9, 2019. She was born to

Henry and Bernice Simpson on May 3, 1930.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Thompson of Newport, Arkansas; her parents, her brother, Charles Simpson; and her sisters, Margaret and Henrietta Simpson. Katie was a graduate of El Dorado High School. Katie and Joe operated a trucking business in Newport and Katie also worked in the banking industry. Katie relocated to Little Rock in 1999. She was a devoted member of Chenal Valley Church of Christ.

Katie will be missed by her many friends from the community and church.

FIELD KINDLEY (KIN) WASSON JR., 61, of Little Rock, died Sunday, September 8, 2019.

Field was born January 23, 1958 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, son of Mary Ann Clinton and Field Kindley Wasson. He attended Siloam Springs High

School, Class of 1976, where he was captain of the basketball team and won a state tennis championsh­ip. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1980, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, and University of Arkansas School of Law in 1985.

Field was a charismati­c and intelligen­t man. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone, except whatever team the Arkansas Razorbacks were playing. He served as Chief Legal Counsel to Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton until 1992, which he described as “the best job” he’d ever had, and held positions in banking and finance after that time. He married the love of his life, Nancy, on June 25, 1994 in a private ceremony in Anguilla. Most of all, he was proud of his children and their accomplish­ments, and was an invaluable source of advice and guidance. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Nancy Argo Wasson; daughter, Elizabeth Patricia Wasson of Charlotte, North Carolina; son, Field Kindley Wasson III of Fayettevil­le, Arkansas; step-daughter Jessica Stacy Totty of Wynne, Arkansas; sister Angela Wasson-Hunt (Stuart) of Kansas City, Missouri and brother Karl Clinton Wasson (Ann) of Duluth, Minnesota. He is also survived by step-grandchild­ren John Gracchus Shaver, Caroline Grace Shaver, and Audrey Argo Totty, as well as many nieces and nephews and numerous Argo family members.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 12 from 5-7 p.m. at the home of Tricia and Jim Fowler, 5314 Hawthorne Road, Little Rock, Arkansas.
