JOHNNY MARTIN LEIBROCK, formerly of DeWitt, passed away on Sunday, September 15 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born to John H. Martin and Minnie Lee Rasco Martin on January 18, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Lawrence (Buddy) Leibrock, Jr., and two brothers, John Rasco (Jack) Martin and Roy Lee Martin, and daughterin-law, Schyler Leibrock.

She is survived by a son, Scott Leibrock, and three daughters and their husbands, Melanie and Bo Conner, Chris and Lyle Dent, and Susan and Dick Luebke, and her grandchild­ren Hayden Leibrock, Clint and Craig Conner, Wayne Dent, John O’Dell, Christi Obenshain, David and Brett Luebke, and Lesley Speller. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchild­ren.

She taught for many years in the DeWitt Public Schools. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of DeWitt, Mothers’ Club, Mendelssoh­n Club, DeWitt Garden Club, and DeWitt Jaycettes. RANDALL BOYCE NEWCOMB, 72, of North Little Rock died Wednesday, September 18, 2019. He was born January 11, 1947 in Bauxite, Arkansas to the late Frank and Juanita Patterson Newcomb. He is survived by Cindy Newcomb, Scott Newcomb of Kansas City, Missouri, Paige Witcher (Clint) of Bryant, Sean Newcomb (Cassey) of Columbia, South Carolina, and Laura Lancaster (Frank) of Sherwood. He is also survived by seven grandchild­ren, one great-granddaugh­ter and many friends. He was an active member of All Souls Church in Scott. THANH B. NGUYEN, MD, age 55, passed away, Saturday, September 14, 2019, in her home. Prior to moving to the United States, Dr. Nguyen was born in Saigon, Vietnam, in 1963, to parents Dr. Dong Huu Nguyen and Mrs. Tuyet Ngo Nguyen.

She is survived by her parents of Little Rock; her older brother, Duong Nguyen, MD (Angela Nutt-Nguyen, MD); nieces, Ann-Marie, and Christina Nguyen; and nephew, Joshua Nguyen, all of Little Rock. Also survived by her younger sister Thuy Nguyen, of Austin, Texas.

GLORIA M. RAMSEY, 83, of Little Rock, died Tuesday, 9/17 at Arkansas Hospice. She was born 2/6/36 in Clarksvill­e, Texas to Elbert and Beatrice Humphrey. Her parents later moved to DeKalb, Texas where she met her first husband, John Ramsey, to whom she was married for 20 years. Gloria later moved to Texarkana, where she lived for many years.

She worked for Red River Army Depot for 32 years before retiring in 1988. After retirement, she held positions at East Funeral Home and Miracle Ear and worked as a sitter for several years.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Beatrice Humphrey, her former husband and father of her child, John Ramsey, brothers Rockland Dale Humphrey, Stephen Humphrey, and Stiles Humphrey, and sister, Sharon Kaufman. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and Frederick James of Little Rock, one grandson and wife, Courtney and Tammy Harvey of Texarkana, Ark., two bonus grandchild­ren, Magdalene James of Kansas City, Mo. and Frederick James Jr. of Little Rock, three great-grandchild­ren, Makayli Harvey, Malachi Harvey, and Avery Keener of Texarkana, Ark., two brothers, Dean Humphrey and wife Elisabeth of Denison, Texas, and Jerry Humphrey and wife Patsy of DeKalb, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins, to include two special cousins, Edna Brem of Texarkana and Jimmie English of Sims, Texas and one very special nephew, Robert Ramsey of Texarkana, Ark.

STEVEN EDWARD THOMPSON, 54, of North Little Rock departed this life Wednesday, September 11, 2019. He was born February 17, 1965, to Edward Thompson and Dulcie Scott. Steven was a member of Beta Sigma Alpha Pi Fraternity while attending Arkansas State University; he also attended Green River College, Pacific Lutheran University, UALR and was a retired Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, karaoke, country music, and Chris Stapleton and Kane Brown.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Olive Thompson of the home; sons, Nicholas Thompson of North Little Rock, Darrius Thompson of North Little Rock, and Phillip Brown of North Little Rock; daughters, Brittany Thompson of North Little Rock, Latrina Olive of North Little Rock, Nicole Brown of North Little Rock; mother, Dulcie Scott of Diaz; brothers, Jerry Thompson of Kentucky, John Michael Scott of Diaz, Michael Thompson of Illinois; sisters, Pansy Hall (Keith) of Oklahoma, Jacqueline Scott of Diaz, and Candi Thompson of Illinois; father-in-law and motherin-law, Benny and Bella Olive of Jacksonvil­le; and grandchild­ren, Ryan Lewis and Nehemiah Olive.
