The Little Rock Winds and conductor Israel Getzov open their 2019-20 season with a concert titled “Melody and Passion,” 7:30 p.m. today at Second Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock. Cellist Stephen Feldman solos in Tramonto: Romanza for Cello by Luis Serrano Alarcon. The program also includes Eric Whitacre’s Seal Lullaby, John Barnes Chance’s Incantation and Dance, selections from George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess and the finale from Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5. Dancers in residence

A 5-7:30 p.m. Second Friday Art Night reception opens exhibits of angel images by painter and sculptor Jane F.
