Karpe-Hanvey

Wedding vows were exchanged by Jordan Michael Karpe and Michelle Hanvey on Saturday at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Ky. Ronald Walter officiated.

Parents of the bride are Susan and Alan Hanvey of Shepherdsville, Ky. The groom is the son of Donna and Larry Karpe of Little Rock.

Honor attendants were Mandy Sheehan, Ashley Roberson and Daniel Keil.

A reception, also at the distillery, was held after the ceremony.

The bride is a cum laude graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in English literature.

The groom graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in studio art from Norbert O. Schedler Honors College at the University of Central Arkansas and a master’s degree in teaching from UCA. He is a technical business analyst for FIS.

The couple will live in Little Rock and plan a wedding trip next summer.
