On double standards

If you want to know what Democrats are up to, just look at what they accuse Republicans of doing. Hillary was outraged, shocked at the threat to our democracy when Trump didn’t agree in advance to accept election results. It seems Hillary then spends the next three years telling anyone who will listen that she won the election, it was stolen by the Russians, and Trump’s election was illegitimate. The whole party continued a frenzied and crazy effort to undo the 2016 election results which they have never accepted. Hillary hires a British spy to use his Russian contacts to dig up dirt on Trump. Result, the Democrats, having failed to stop Trump’s election or force his resignation before taking office, spend the next three years on the expensive dud that was the Mueller Report.

A high-ranking Democrat official’s son gets thousands of dollars shoveled to him by a corrupt Ukrainian energy company to whom he has absolutely nothing of value to offer other than his last name. The result, a Republican president is going to be impeached for trying to find out about corruption in Ukraine.

What a topsy-turvy world in which trying to root out Democrat corruption is an impeachable offense, running for president creates immunity to investigation (but only if you are a Democrat), and every failure to unseat a duly elected president with lies is succeeded by another equally preposterous campaign to undo an election. Compare this to all the recount elections where recounts were repeated until that big box of ballots from the most leftist county miraculously appeared. Never forget which party’s president, speaking with Putin’s puppet about reducing American military strength, said Putin should be patient because he’d have more flexibility after the election.

If it weren’t for double standards, Democrats would have no standards at all.
