CABOT — Glen H. Boyd,

72, of Cabot passed away January 23, 2020. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Wilbur “Earlie” Boyd and Mary “Emma” (Webb) Boyd on January 24, 1947. He was a graduate of Jacksonvil­le High School and served proudly in the US Army in Vietnam. Glen was one of six children and came from a family of railroad workers. He worked as an electricia­n with the railroad, and was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed square dancing and camping with Arkansas Camping Friends.

Glen is survived by his wife of fifty years, Phyllis Allen Boyd; daughter, Amy Oliger (Randy); son, Todd Boyd (Melody); grandchild­ren, Ethan Boyd, Jonah Boyd, Randall Oliger, and Ashley Trostel (Billy); great-grandchild­ren, Savannah Blair, Alanna West, and Adrianna Morant; siblings, Will Boyd (Betty) of Mountain City, Tennessee, Irma Barrett (Don) of Huntsville, Alabama, and Annette Hammons (Johnny) of Cabot, Arkansas; sister-in-laws: Judy Boyd of Carthage, Missouri, and Barbara Boyd of Cabot, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved.

Glen is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe David Boyd and Kenneth Boyd; and granddaugh­ter, Brittany Oliger.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2020, at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ. Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at the church. Burial will be at Sumner Cemetery, Cabot.
