age 66, of Cabot passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at his home. He was born March 16, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late John R. and Jewell Duvall Harris.

Garland was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was an avid hunter, but his greatest passion was music. He was the winner of the 2019 Steel Guitar Player of the Year at the Arkansas Country Music Awards.

Garland was preceded in death by his first wife, Jackie Harris; and brother, Robert Earl Harris. Survivors include his wife, Wendy Harris; children, Julia (Jeff) Richardson, Holly (Gary) Ledoux, Caleb (Bridgett) Gammill, and Caity Neyland; brothers, Johnny W. Harris and Donald E. (Tonya) Harris; and grandchild­ren, Bailee Ledoux, Lilli Gammill, Jenna Richardson, Tucker Ledoux, Avery Neyland, Luci Gammill, Emery Neyland, and Lawson Gammill.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Cornerston­e Worship Center in North Little Rock with Brother Gary Bearden officiatin­g. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial park in Jacksonvil­le. Visitation will be 5:30-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral Home. Pallbearer­s are Jeff Richardson, Gary “Bubba” Ledoux Jr., Shane Harris, Shawn Harris, Eugene Parr, Joe Garner, Rodney Needham, Caleb Gammill, and Tucker Ledoux. Honorary Pallbearer­s are Randy Holland, Johnny Quattlebau­m, Richie Varnell, Luke Erwin, Eric Nolan, Larry House, Rick Campbell, Mike Grisham, Jerry Collier, Richard Hearon, Bruce Hearon, Jeremy Geringer, Michael Heavner, Randy McDonald, and Dennis Fisk.
