CABOT — Lawrence Anthony Cuneo Jr. “Larry” of Cabot,

Ark. passed away peacefully on December 26, 2019; he was 87. Larry was born to Lawrence A. Cuneo Sr. and Evelyn (Coonan) Cuneo of Chicago, Ill. on September 26, 1932.

Larry graduated from Campion Jesuit High School in Prairie du Chien, Wis., class of 1952.

Larry joined the United States Air Force in 1952, stationed at Chanute AFB, Ill.; in 1961 he founded The Village Ambulance & Oxygen Company in Northbrook, Ill. He later moved to California where he worked for and retired from the California Dept. of Correction­s. In retirement, Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and attending his Rotary Club meetings. Larry was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus; member of the Rotary Club of Cabot; and a parishione­r at St. Jude’s the Apostle Catholic Church.

Larry is survived by sons: Lawrence A. Cuneo III of Jacksonvil­le, Ark.; Daniel O. Cuneo of Jacksonvil­le, Ark., daughters: Carmen E. Cuneo, CPA, of Houston, Texas; Teresa D. Cuneo of Santa Monica, Calif.; brother: Francis J. Cuneo, Jr. (Linea) of Naperville, Ill., Larry had 10 grandchild­ren, 14 great-grandchild­ren, and three great-great-grandchild­ren. Larry is preceded in death by his sister, Candida Marie Cuneo, of Sugar Grove, Ill.; his son, Mark Campion Cuneo, Sr.; and grandson, Mark Campion Cuneo, Jr., both of Jacksonvil­le, Ark.

Memorial Mass for Larry will be held on January 23, 2020 at 11 a.m., St. Jude’s the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonvil­le, Ark. Mass Intention - 5 p.m., January 26, 2020, Assumption Catholic Church, Chicago, Ill. Inurnment - the Cuneo Mausoleum. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Evanston, Ill.
