was born January 10, 1941 to the late Fred Jones Sr. and Geraldine Bailey Jones in Little Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life early Monday morning January 20, 2020.

He also was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Jones Jr. and niece, Carolyn Jones. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was very active at Sand Hill AME Church presently known as Sand Hill Bailey Bible Church. He later returned until his health failed.

Wilkie attended Little Rock Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1961. He was a man of many trades, which made him well known around the city. He was a mechanic, plumber, contractor, and builder. After he lost his eyesight, he could listen to the vehicle and state what was wrong with it.

He became a father after graduation. He later married Nora M. Collins and they were blessed with three daughters.

He leaves to cherish his memories four daughters, Denise (Leonard) Williams of Lees Summit, Missouri, Cynthia (Darrell) Pumphrey and Cheryl (Kenny) Miller of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Sherry Jones of Conway, Arkansas; two brothers, Leo (Annie) Jones and Earl (Georgetta) Jones of Little Rock, Arkansas; six grandchild­ren, Antoine, DaShonda, Marcus, Mitchell, Jessica, and Nicholas; five great grandchild­ren, Jordyn, Kaiden, London, Terryl Jr., and Egypt; three care givers and special friends, Barbara Buchanan, Arthur Wright, and Carl Bright; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation: Friday, noon- 6 p.m. at Robinson Mortuary, Little Rock; Family Hour: Saturday, 11 a.m., Service: Saturday, noon both at Sand Hill Bailey Bible Church, 2311 Bailey Rd., Little Rock.
