PINE BLUFF — Don Austin Coston,
78, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas died Saturday, January 18, 2020 at his home. He was born July 31, 1941 in Locust Bayou, Arkansas. Don retired as a supervisor for Georgia-Pacific after 22 years and also retired from the Democrat/Gazette. He loved Cardinal baseball, the Arkansas Razorbacks and Fordyce football.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Austin Coston and Melba Priddy Coston; and one son, Jeff Braden. He is survived by his wife, Sharon House Coston of Pine Bluff; four sons, Don Coston, Jr. of Fordyce, Darrell (Lynn) Coston of Fordyce, Greg (Cassie) Braden of White Hall, and David (Tammy) Bowman of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Kelli Woods of Gilbert, Ariz.; one brother, Ronny Coston of White Hall; sixteen grandchildren, Jessica Raney of Louisiana, Kayla (Jeremy) Kimbrough of White Hall, Corey (Melanie) Coston of Fordyce, Carly Coston of Monticello, Blake (Josey) Coston of Jacksonville, Fla., Trent (BrieAnn) Coston of Fordyce, Kiane Woods of Gilbert, Ariz., Kevin Brown of Little Rock, Jennifer Brown of Fordyce, Emily Brown of Fordyce, Landon Braden of Fayetteville, Brooke Braden of Fayetteville, Jacob Bowman of Little Rock, Alex Bowman of Little Rock, Walker Braden of St. Augustine, Fla., and Peyton Braden of St. Augustine, Fla.; and 14 great-grandchildren.
