81, of Sherwood passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020. He was born April 19, 1938 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Ignatius and Martina Selig.

He was the owner of Quality Door and Screen Company, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Robert is survived by his wife, Bernice Selig; daughters, Carla Selig, of Sherwood and Alicia (Kenny) Berkemeyer, of Sherwood; son, James (Alison Hodge-Selig) Selig, of Little Rock; five grandchild­ren: Tiffany (Chase) Diemer, Anna Berkemeyer, Andrea Berkemeyer, Henry Selig, and Lucy Selig; and one great-granddaugh­ter, Ellanor Diemer, and a great-grandson on the way; and sister, Mary Lee (Bob) Scroggins. He is preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, and daughter Brenda Kay Selig.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfathe­r. His grandchild­ren and great-granddaugh­ter were the light of his life. He was a very active member of his church, greeting people with a welcoming smile on Sunday mornings. A visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a Rosary service at 6 p.m., Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, February 24, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be 1 p.m., at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Cemetery in Slovak, Arkansas.
