JOANNA PRINGLE BANKER,

87, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully February 6, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on March 10, 1932 to Andrew and Edna (Meyer) Pringle.

She was a nurse by profession and had a very caring heart. Joanna loved gardening, enjoyed tropical flowers, hummingbir­ds, and never met a dog she did not love. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband of 66 years, Don Banker, of Little Rock; children, Michael Banker (Sheila) of Colorado, Daniel Banker (Susan) of Texas, and Susy Harrison (Bobby) of Little Rock; grandchild­ren, Jennifer Verwers (Stephen), Jonathan Banker (Amy), Patrick Banker, Brittany Dunaway (Brian), Danielle Meeler (Derek), Caitlynn Banker, and Chris Harrison; great-grandchild­ren, Adelyn Verwers, Aubrey Verwers, Mason Verwers, Levi Banker, Claire Banker and Lex Dunaway. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Andrew Pringle, Jr., Mary Jo Knudsen and Peggy Jean O’Barr. Joanna will be missed and remembered dearly by numerous other family members and friends.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, February 22nd at Christ the King Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to Out of the Woods Animal Rescue of Arkansas, P.O.
