HORSEHEADS, N.Y. — On March 29, 2020, Robert “Don” Moore,

of Horseheads, NY joined his family and friends in heaven. Don was born in Ripley, Miss., and raised in Memphis, Tenn. He spent 20 years serving the Little Rock, Ark. community with Weingarten’s, a regional grocery store chain, serving as Area Supervisor, before opening “Moore’s Grocery Store” in Vilonia, Ark. During this time Don also faithfully served his country with the Air Force National Guard and attended Immanuel Baptist Church. In 2010 he moved to western New York to live near his daughter, Donna Moore Powers, and her family. He will be laid to rest in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Ark. A celebratio­n of life will be planned for a later date.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Leo and Sarah Geraldine Moore, and nephew Tim Drew of Nashville, Tenn. Don is survived by his daughter, Donna Moore Powers, of Horseheads, N.Y.; sister, Mary Nell Drew of Cordova, Tenn.; granddaugh­ter, Reina Lynn Powers of Horseheads, N.Y.; and nephews David and Kenny Drew of Cordova, Tenn.
