Building permit issued for school
The city of Little Rock’s weekly list of building permits includes a $4.7 million project for the new LISA Academy High School campus at 6711 W. Markham St.
The nature of the work is described as construction of a structural link between the east and west wings of the school building, remodeling of interior spaces and the addition of a north parking lot area.
The job will not be built in phases but once construction is started, it will continue until completed. Total construction time is scheduled for 24 weeks.
Clark Contractors is the project contractor.
LISA Academy High School is moving from its present location to the space previously used by the now closed Little Rock Preparatory Academy.
