Educators session to be free, virtual
The Arkansas Department of Education’s second annual summer meeting for education employees — both state-licensed and support staff members — will be a free, 100% virtual event Tuesday through Thursday.
More than 200 sessions will be conducted during the three-day event, which was held in Hot Springs last year.
Featured speakers at this year’s event include Anthony Muhammad, a consultant, former teacher and administrator whose Transforming School Culture Approach explores the root causes of staff resistance to change.
Also featured will be Tina H. Boogren, a former teacher, administrator and co-author of Strategies to Motivate and Inspire Students. She is a contributing author to Richard Kellough’s Middle School Teaching: A Guide to Methods and Resources.
