Park sites open with restrictions

-

The splash pads, playgrounds and restrooms in Conway city parks reopened this week, but with restrictions to protect from the transmission of the coronavirus, the city announced.

The facilities will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Only 10 children will be allowed on the splash pad at a time for 15 minutes. Parents are required to stay with their children, and there will be a designated entrance and exit.

Tape will be on the ground around each activity, and only one child is allowed at a single activity at a time.

The park’s large drop bucket will not be in operation because the activity gathers children together to stand under a waterfall area, according to the city’s announcement.

Picnic tables, benches and pavilions are not open or available for use.

Parents are responsible for their children and themselves using social distancing.
