HORSESHOE BEND — Coy Ray Burge,

82, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020. He was born December 9, 1937 in Newark, Arkansas. He was a proud Arkansan and served in the Navy for 20 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer.

Ray is survived by his daughter Mary Walls and husband Don of Stephenville, Texas, two granddaughters and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Marge Burge, mother Opal Walker Vandever (Jack) and grandparents Thurman Allen Walker (Dad) Susie Pearl Brumley Walker (Mom).

A memorial service will be held June 20, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
