Police: Man jailed on 2 counts of rape

Little Rock police on Monday arrested a 43-yearold man on two counts of rape after a bench warrant was issued for his arrest out of Pulaski County, according to an arrest report.

Cody Van Stephenson of Little Rock was arrested at 1800 E. Roosevelt Road, the arrest report said.

He remained in jail on Monday evening without bail, according to the inmate roster.

Pepper spray’s use cited in LR arrest

Little Rock police on Sunday afternoon arrested 20-year-old Alexus Kirksey of Pine Bluff on a misdemeano­r charge of third-degree battery after she used pepper spray on an individual, according to an arrest report.

She was arrested at 2608 Maple St. after police made contact with a group of people over a possible disturbanc­e stemming from an accident, the arrest report said.

Kirksey did not appear on a roster of Pulaski County jail inmates on Monday evening.

Man arrested over threats, police say

Jacksonvil­le police on Sunday night arrested Travis Tacker, 39, on three counts of felony terroristi­c threatenin­g after he made a phone call to a person saying he was en route to a residence to “kill everyone inside,” according to an arrest report.

Tacker, of Jacksonvil­le, was arrested at a hotel at 200 T P White Dr. and transporte­d to a hospital for medical evaluation, police reported.

He remained in the Pulaski County jail as of Monday evening.

Report says drugs found on LR man

Little Rock police early Monday arrested 35-yearold

Sylvester D. Chunn on drug charges after a woman in a neighborin­g apartment said he walked through her apartment and woke her up, according to an arrest report.

Police said they saw Chunn leaving the area after they took the report from the woman. Chunn was detained and searched at a gas station located at 6500 Mabelvale Cut Off Road, and officers found marijuana and meth, according to the report.

Chunn, of Little Rock, faces one count of felony possession of meth and one count of misdemeano­r possession of marijuana.

He did not appear on a roster of Pulaski County jail inmates on Monday evening.

Man tried to flee, state police report

The Arkansas State Police on Monday arrested Cassius Clinkscale, 23, of Little Rock near Interstate 630 and Fair Park Boulevard after Clinkscale fled from a traffic stop, lost control of his vehicle and spun out, rendering the vehicle inoperable, according to an arrest report.

He faces a felony charge of fleeing and a misdemeano­r charge of carrying a weapon.

Clinkscale remained in the Pulaski County jail as of Monday evening.

Traffic-stop fleeing said to end in arrest

The Arkansas State Police arrested Malcolm Xavier Wallace, 24, on charges of fleeing, carrying a weapon, reckless driving, speeding and failure to stop at a red light after he fled from a traffic stop, according to an arrest report.

After a few turns, Wallace’s vehicle became disabled, the arrest report said.

Wallace remained in jail on Monday evening, according to an inmate roster.
