WHITE HALL — Frank Perry Stratton,

88, of White Hall, Ark., passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Stratton was born July 28, 1931, in Altheimer, Ark., a son of the late Delton and Celia Edwards Stratton. He received his education in Pine Bluff, where he graduated from Pine Bluff High School. He also attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He joined the United States Army and served his country after the Korean War.

Mr. Stratton was a farmer and a life-long resident of Pine Bluff. He was a former president of the Agricultur­al Council of Arkansas. He served 20 years in Agricultur­al Stabilizat­ion and Conservati­on Service. He was a member of the Levee and Cotton Incorporat­ed Boards, and had also served as chairman of Boll Weevil Eradicatio­n and Arkansas Cotton Growers Organizati­on, Inc.

He married Frances Easterling on December 2, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nev.

During his free time, Mr. Stratton enjoyed reading and Razorback baseball.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Frances Stratton of White Hall; daughter, Tammy (Lee) Corkins of Pine Bluff; three sons, Bryan (Cathi) Stratton of Athens, Ala., Rusty (Janice) Stratton of Star City, Jeff (Nancy) May of Pine Bluff; sister, Cora Thornton of Pine Bluff; brother, Joe (Jeanine) Stratton of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; nine grandchild­ren; and eight great-grandchild­ren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Delton (Red) Stratton.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 28, 2020, 11 a.m., at White Hall United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Allen Crum officiatin­g by Robinson and Fuller Funeral Home in White Hall.
