BEEBE — Mrs. Mary Ruth (Day) Grogan,

89, passed away July 30, 2020. She was born in Ash Flat, Ark., March 6, 1931, to James (Jim) Edward and Mary Chloe (Haskins) Day. She was united in marriage on March 28, 1947, in Kansas City, Kan., to James Warren Grogan. To this union, four children were born: Ruth Ann, Bonnie Jean, Warren Ray and Wilma Lou.

She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Ann (David) Dawson of Searcy, and Bonnie Jean Grogan of Beebe; nine grandchildren, Patrick (Sherry) Johnston, Joanna Crisco, Windy (Stephen) Blythe, Diana (Jason) Riddle, Amanda (Dale) Pratt, Amy Cooper, Julie (Andy) Jones, Davis (Danielle) Beasley, and Annie Beasley; 15 great-grandchildren, Victoria Johnston, Nathan Johnston, Samantha Johnston, Rachel Wisdom, Rebecca Wisdom, Jackson Wisdom, Aiden Jones, Asher Jones, Jordan Crisco, Sarah Blythe, Ryan Blythe, Joslyn Riddle and Jason Riddle, Jr.; two greatgreat grandchildren, Auroralei and Alexander; several nephews, nieces, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Elbert Day; two sisters, Bertha May and Nancy Lee (infants); her husband of 64 years, James Warren Grogan; one daughter, Wilma Lou (infant); and son Warren Ray Grogan.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Ash Flat Cemetery, Ash Flat, Ark. State of AR COVID-19 directives will be followed, including social distancing and face mask requirements. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.smithfamilycares.com
