LINDA (MCENTIRE) WOMACK

passed away at her home in North Little Rock, Ark., on Friday, July 31, 2020. Linda was born on March 28, 1950, at Fort Lewis, Wash., to A.D. & Eunice McEntire. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Linda graduated in 1968 from North Little Rock High School (Ole Main). She was retired from the Arkansas Department of Health, where she worked for 37 years and made lifelong friends while in her service there. Linda was a member of the Windsong Church of Christ in Maumelle, Ark.

Linda is survived by her brother, Ronnie McEntire, of Clinton, Ark.; her four children: Michael Childers, of Maumelle, Ark.; Mark Childers, of Cave City, Ark.; Jenifer (Womack) Munoz, of North Little Rock, Ark.; and Jason Womack, of North Little Rock, Ark. She was also survived by her five grandchild­ren: Cheyenne Childers, Cody Childers, Emma Childers, Kali Womack, Kenzie Lospoc; as well as two great-grandchild­ren and a host of extended family and friends.

Linda enjoyed traveling, sneaking off to the casino to play her favorite slot machines, driving through the Ozark Mountains in the fall to enjoy the Arkansas fall foliage, while doing genealogy research on her family tree. She liked watching true crime television shows, having her Waffle House breakfast each morning, and she absolutely adored her pups, Chloe and Leila.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at First Free Will Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Ark. A celebratio­n of Linda’s life will be held at 11 a.m., with Bro. Mark Stripling officiatin­g. Burial will follow at 3 p.m., at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Rupert, Ark.
