MONDAY Conway Conversations Online Panel and Discussion
CONWAY — An online community panel representing various perspectives on the Confederate monument outside the Faulkner County Courthouse will take place from 6-8 p.m. Breakout groups will then discuss the information shared, generate questions and brainstorm on positive actions for the community. The panel, moderated by Jay Barth, will include Judge Jim Baker, Story Matkin-Rawn, Lloyd Hervey, the Rev. Lauren DeLano, Franklin Holbrook and Edmond Davis. All are invited to participate. ONGOING Corona Corona! Exhibit
FAIRFIELD BAY — Joyce Hartmann, a Choctaw artist, has a new exhibit, Corona Corona!, at the Fairfield Bay Library, 369 Dave Creek Parkway. The exhibit consists of 19 paintings, most in watercolor, but some are mixed media or acrylics. More than half of the works are being exhibited for the first time. Cleburne County Cares Food Pantry
HEBER SPRINGS — The Cleburne County Cares Food Pantry, 2016 Arkansas 25 Bypass, is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Those who need food for themselves or others are asked to call ahead at (501) 362-8486 so the pantry can have the food ready for pickup.

Oktoberfest in the Bay Art Walk Participation
FAIRFIELD BAY — Artists are wanted for the Oktoberfest in the Bay Art Walk, set from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 3. Robbie Miller, chairwoman of the event, said artists may rent a 10-by-12-foot booth space for $20 to display and sell their works. Setup will be outside the Fairfield Bay Conference Center. Art forms accepted include oil, watercolor, acrylics, mixed media, pottery, jewelry, collage, sculpture and photography. Fairy-Tale Take-Home Crafts

FAIRFIELD BAY —The Fairfield Bay Library is closed to the public
until further notice. However, e-books, audio books and magazines are available online, and modified curbside pickup is available. All requests need to be received by Tuesday so books and audio books can be labeled and ready to go. The limit is six items. At this time, the library is not checking out movies. Other churches, organizations, businesses and volunteers have helped make the dinners possible by donating time and resources.

Fairfield Bay Octoberfest Cancellation
FAIRFIELD BAY — Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fairfield Bay Conference Center and the city of Fairfield Bay have canceled Octoberfest 2020, which was scheduled for Oct. 3. “However, a bigger and better event, including the art walk, will take place on Oct. 2, 2021,” said Robbie Miller, chairwoman of the art walk.
