MORRILTON — Eleanor Jean Privett Fresneda,

age 81, of Morrilton, passed away Friday November 13, 2020. She was born July 5, 1939 in Alamo, Tenn., to the late Hubert and Uradean Privett. She and her husband, Pedro, moved to Morrilton in 1973 with their three children. She did book keeping for a while, but eventually realized her true calling when she started her daycare in 1983. From that time to the present you could always count on her being home and teaching whichever child she was keeping how to read or write. She is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morrilton, Ark.

Her favorite activities included racing her grandchildren to the shed, swinging on her porch, or making lunch for whoever might be coming over that day.

She is survived by her sons John (Kim) Fresneda and Ken (Mandy) Fresneda of Morrilton; and her daughter Djuana (Joey) Beck of Springfield; her brother Michael (Kay) Privett of Adamsville, Tenn.; and sister Nancy (Don) Morton of Memphis, Tenn.; grandchildren Haylee (Ryan) Beck; Chase Fresneda, Keyleigh Fresneda, Alex Fresneda, Mackenzie Fresneda, Megan Fresneda, Joe Beck, Madeline Beck, and Lizzy Beck; great grandchildren Grey, Cooper, and Aria Beck; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Pedro Fresneda. Her parents Hubert and Uradean Privett, Brothers Byron (Lillian) and Tony Privett and infant sister Mary Susan Privett.

Rosary will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 15th. The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the rosary. Funeral mass will be held Monday November 16th at 10 a.m. with Father Jack Harris, Father Joseph Friend, and Deacon Steve Mallet officiating. Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
