Theresa Ann Kraeszig, 92, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on December 5, 2020, due to

complicati­ons of Covid-19. She was born February 22, 1928, in Pine Bluff, to Fred and Cecelia Schweri Kraeszig. She attended the Annunciati­on Academy, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1945. Theresa started her 48-year career with Federal Compress and Warehouse Company in Pine Bluff, and then spent several years in Greenwood, Miss., before retiring from the company as a System Coordinato­r in Memphis, Tenn. Theresa was a wonderful sister, aunt, and friend with an energetic, caring personalit­y; and even while enduring dialysis for three years, she kept her positive attitude and sense of humor. She enjoyed traveling, all needlework and working with puzzles.

Theresa was a faithful, long-time parishione­r of St. Joseph Catholic Church and member of the St. Joseph

Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, JRMC Auxiliary, where she served two years on the board, and RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program).

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Aline Kraeszig, Leona Kraeszig S.C.N., Catherine Ham,

Marie Cox, Mary Clement; brothers: John, Albert, and Clarence Kraeszig. Survivors include nine nieces &

nephews, a host of great nieces & nephews, and her closest friend, Barbara Smith.

A Rosary followed by Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 12, 2020, 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Joseph Marconi and Deacon Noel F. “Bud” Bryant officiatin­g. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
