MAYFLOWER — Dianne Garrett,

age 75, of Mayflower, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She was a 1963 graduate of Cabot High School. Dianne’s talents were many; she was an accomplish­ed cook, canner, crafter, seamstress and unrivaled card and domino player. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and RV camping with her family and friends throughout the United States and collected jewelry and pottery on her trips. Dianne was also a beloved wife, mother, grandmothe­r and sister.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Viola Archer, and her two brothers, Curtis Archer and Dale Archer. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, William (Bill) Garrett; sons, Ken Henson, David Garrett and Todd Archer; daughters, Lisa Smith and Christine Gillespie; grandsons, Aaron Smith, Cole Smith, Kannon Henson and Elijah Smith; granddaugh­ters, Jora Henson and Jozi Henson; brother, Jerry Archer; sisters, Theta Allman, Patricia Braddy, and Elaine Nolan; many nieces and nephews as well as numerous close friends.

The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to CARTI Cancer Center, but especially to Dr. Thomas Sneed and his team, for the wonderful care and support given during her brave battle with lung cancer. Our thanks as well to Arkansas Hospice for their kind compassion and support.
