74, of North Little Rock passed from this life on January 29, 2021. He was born January 6, 1947 in Laurinburg, N. C., to the late Ardis and Daisy Norton Snuggs. Mr. Snuggs proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for more than 25 years. He was a member of New Beginnings Pentecosta­l Church of God in Mayflower. Ardis will always be remembered as a hardworkin­g and loving man. He enjoyed the outdoors but found his greatest joy in his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Myrtle Goins.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife over 52 years, Betty Leviner Snuggs; children, Thomas Snuggs of Hot Springs, Jeff (Gayla) Snuggs of North Carolina and Clarissa (Jody) Smithson of Greenbrier. Other survivors include grandchild­ren, Kellie Holley, Melanie Snuggs, Austin Smithson; great-grandchild­ren, Peyton Nordek, Kynlee Banks, Ayden, Roman and Kellen Holley; one brother; seven sisters and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home with Pastor James Barnes officiatin­g. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. Ardis will be laid to rest at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors at a later date.
