BENTON — Tyler James Morgan,

-

38, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, family member, and friend passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He was born January 30, 1983, in Hot Springs, Ark., to James (Jim) and Amanda Vining Morgan. Tyler attended Hot Springs High School and, upon graduation, made the decision to become a Razorback by signing to play football for the University of Arkansas. After four fun-filled years, he graduated with a B.A. in Communications and soon after met the love of his life, Liz Eva, in Huntsville, Ala.

Liz and Tyler married on October 15, 2011, and moved to Benton, Ark., to begin their lives together. Tyler was employed by Bruce Oakley, Inc., and served as a Regional Sales Manager, a position he held for 14 years. In 2014, Tyler and Liz were blessed with a daughter, Saylor (6) and in 2016, a son, Hank (4). Tyler loved these two children and his wife more than anything in the world. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with them and make memories that they will be able to cherish forever.

Besides spending time with his family, Tyler loved fishing and hunting with his friends. He was a person who loved life and enjoyed every minute of his short life.

Those who knew Tyler lost a shining light in their lives. He was a happy, fun-loving guy who never met a stranger. He had a kind word for everyone, and those who knew him loved him. As his friends often would say, “He lights up a room when he walks in!” His kindness will never be forgotten, and he will be missed every day by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ann Vining and Frances and James Beckham (JB) Morgan. He is survived by his wife, Liz; daughter, Saylor; son, Hank all of Benton; mother and father, Amanda and Jim Morgan of Hot Springs; brother, Shane Morgan (Laura) of Cushing, Oklahoma; sister, Allison Morgan of St. Petersburg, Florida; grandfather, Bill Vining (Carolyn) of Arkadelphia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
