CABOT — Corneless “Connie” Harrison Cason,

-

78, of Cabot, passed away and went on to his eternal reward on February 23, 2021. He was born August 8, 1942 in Leachville, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher Corneless Cason and Anna Helen Gibbs; and one sister, Sharon Henson. Connie was a retired parts manager for Littrell Ford in Blytheville, Ark. He would want everyone to know that he was saved by faith in Jesus Christ in 1989 and became a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Monette, Ark. Connie moved to Cabot in 2014 to be near his children and grandchildren.

The final days of Connie’s life brought many challenges to his health. However, those days also provided multiple opportunities for his children to provide him with the care, comfort and love they knew he deserved. Connie was prepared for the end of his earthly journey and spoke openly about knowing that Jesus was walking with him through his final days. This assurance has given his family great comfort and strength to face the difficult days ahead. We know indeed that as Christians we do not grieve as those who are without hope and we know there will be a glad reunion day. Hallelujah, there’s a heaven!

Connie is survived by his daughter, Kim Simmons (Ronnie); son, Chris Cason (Jana) and three grandchildren, Bryant Cason, Katie Cason and Samuel Simmons.

The family will have a private memorial service to honor Connie’s life at a later date. Arrangements by Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816. Please sign our online guestbook for the Cason family at www.moorescabotfuneralhome.com.
