MEMPHIS — Nancy Burford Kubler,

88, died Friday, February 19, in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. Nancy was born in Memphis, Tenn., on September 14, 1932, the daughter of the late Roy and Gertrude Burford.

Along with her parents Mrs. Kubler was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Fred C. Kubler, Jr. She is survived by her three grown children; Robert Lee Kubler, Susan Kubler Pritchett and Katherine Kubler McKay; nine grandchild­ren: Erinn Boone, Daniel Kubler, Josh Kubler, Adam Pritchett, Derik Pritchett, Morgan McKay, Madeline McKay, Jamie Mothershed and Ashleigh Kubler; six great-grandchild­ren: Sydney Boone, Canaan Kubler, Willow Ruth Kubler, Abraham Robert Kubler, Rosie Kubler and Leela Mitchell; and her sister Shirley Cullom.

Mrs. Kubler attended Memphis State University and was a highly regarded artist, gift shop owner and interior decorator. Mrs. Kubler was an active member of the Episcopal Church, both in Memphis, Tenn., and Heber Springs, Ark. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmothe­r and great- grandmothe­r.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, February 27, beginning at nine o’clock in the morning, until funeral services begin at ten o’clock, all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tenn., 38119. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, February 28, beginning at ten o’clock in the morning, in Memorial Park Cemetery.
