BELLA VISTA — Jimmie Lee Nevener,

affectiona­tely known as “Rennie”, a beloved 103 years old, went to be with the Lord March 4, 2021. Jimmie was born in Pine Bluff, Ark., June 5, 1917, to Thomas Collier Lee and Jemmie Lloyd Lee.

She graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1935. She was a graduate of the New York School of Interior Design and a former member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Jimmie was an Interior Designer for Spears Furniture Company, Wichita Falls, Texas, Sears & Roebuck, Pine Bluff, and Owner of Colony House Interiors for over forty years. Jimmie was a life member of Trinity Episcopal Church and President of the Craft Guild for years coordinati­ng efforts for the Annual Taste of Trinity Bazaar.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Nevener, Jr. of 70 years; her sister, Jeanette Lee Wood of Pine Buff; her brother, Thomas Collier Lee Jr, of Altheimer; her daughter, Carolyn Lee Kientz of Pine Bluff, and grand-daughter, Brittney Ann Kientz of Sheridan, and a grandson, Wendell Christophe­r Nevener of Little Rock.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Lee Ellison of Bella Vista, Ark,; son, John Joseph Nevener III of Bella Vista, Ark.; eight grandchild­ren; 14 great-grandchild­ren, and eight great-great-grandchild­ren.

The Reverend Dr. Walter Van Zant Windsor of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Woodville, Miss., former Priest of Trinity Episcopal Church, will officiate at a graveside service Saturday, March 13, at 1 p.m., at Bellwood Cemetery.
